- Get your travel agent to plan for the travel arrangements, eg. booking the air tickets, hotel/hostel and transportation.
- Get a proposal for the programme and discuss your requirements. The travel agent, through contacts in Singapore, should be able to advise what the best programme combination is within your allocated budget.
- Request for educational programmes for your group where it is available at the various attractions.
- Ensure that provisions are made for language requirements (ie. other than English). Some providers may only be able to cater to a limited range of languages.
- Ensure that all participants have valid travel documents and where necessary, visa applications should be made early.
- Remember to find out what the students need to bring for the trip, eg. if they are going camping, they may need to bring a torch, insect repellent etc, if these are not provided by the organisers. Although Singapore has hot tropical weather all year, it may be useful for participants to bring a sweater or light windbreaker for use in air-conditioned spaces.
